You want to use Acrylic, thickness is very important for motor alignment etc. The Plinth can be machined to any configuration you want. This is best done on a CNC. The Platter can be 1" or thicker and this also should be done on a CNC machine. Send me your e-mail address and I will forward photo's of Acrylic Plinth and Platter if you like.
