Digital XLO signature RCA cable : Changing one end to BNC

Hi
I have an amazing Digital XLO signature RCA cable.
I need to change one end to BNC.

I have to options:
1. Use the high end Cardas adapter
    https://www.partsconnexion.com/CARDAS-81293.html
2. Replace one end to the high end Oyaide BNC or Atlas element BNC.

The second option might provide better sound (or not...) but will compromise the integrity of the stock XLO signature RCA cable...

Any thought ?

I agree, keep the cable as is. I have been told that by many dealers that would benefit from sending the cable in for re-term. I am using Audioquest adapters with good luck although had I known Cardas made one, I may have gone with Cardas.

Have XLO do the re-termination for and the Oyaide BNC is a very good connector.  If your system is sufficiently resolving, you'll definitely hear the deleterious effects of the adapter. My experience with the Cardas xlr-to-rca adapters showed them to obscure detail and muddy up the soundstage with less precise/indistinct images.

This is an analog cable... Digital signal might behave differently
I will try it and report...

If XLO is out of business, then you could have either Partsconnexion or Take 5 Audio in Canada do the retermination.  Cullen cables also does reterms if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself (I'm not and have had both Canadian companies cable offerings---good quality work from both).
