Definitive Technology BP- 20

Is there a version where the top is not actually the nice piano gloss finish, I saw a pair for sale locally and was questioned, the top finish was regular wood laminate finish.
Any comments, could this be an older version or something?
If so what year if anyone know?

Rapogee,

Yes Def Tech offered optional finishes for the BP series. I believe they offered OAK, Cherry, and the standard Piano Black.

Yes,
Definitive offered wood grain tops to all the BP line, at a reduced price. It is real Definitive, just not sexy piano black laquer.
