decapo be vs decapo i. Anyone heard both?

I bought the decapo be and then been told that the new decapo also features a new mid bass and also the new tweeter.
I knew about the new tweeter, but not the new mid bass.

The older midbass rolled off at 4khz wheres as the new decapo mid bass rolls off at 3 khz.

I am worried that maybe I made a mistake going with the decapo be because it doesnt have the classic mid bass which is the main reason with the decapo is/was so praised!

If I had known that the decapo be has a new mid bass, I wouldnt have got them. I love the speaker however, but I still have to wonder if the new mid bass is better or worse then the oldest model.

Anyone heard both model and could comment?
