One of my favorite amps which I regret selling was a pair of Krell MDA-300s. There was something about them that was magical. They probably don't have the detail of a modern amp, but it was such a joy to listen to them. Too bad they were such great room heaters and I was living in CA where I really didn't need heaters. My wife was NOT impressed with our power bills.
