dac or transport
ok I'm looking at a ps directstream dac. so, until I can afford a higher end transport, I have a mid-range cd player to connect by spdif cable. I was wondering, to play the sacd layer of discs do both the dac & transport need that capability? I don't have too many sacds' but was hoping the dac could differentiate the info the laser reading. thanx Matt
