Mullard CV2493 | CCA | ECC88 | CV2492 | 6922 | 7308 Mitcham Made Military Spec Dual Triode Preamp Tube
CV2493 Tubes, can't find any info
Just got my new preamp today (new to me, 8 yrs old). It uses two 12AX7's and two 6922's. The AX7's that came with it are Mullard KQDD/K 4004's. The 6922 spot has two Mullard Gold Pin CV2493's which are also numbered 7614 with KB/QDD codes. I can't find any info on the 2493's anywhere. 7614 or CV2493 is not shown in my tube tester guide, which is very old. Are these something newer? I'm sure they must be a variant of 6DJ8/6922 but I can't find any with the numbers that I have. Anyone know them? Thanks,
