Cryo?

On the internet I see a lot of recommendations for good cryo treatment (nitrogen) of interconnects & cables, but do any of the major cable manufacturers use it..Cardas, Kimber, WireWorld, Straight Wire, etc.?  Or is it of limited application?.  I wonder if there is much to be gained after the cables have been burned in?  This industry is full of tweekers and very small companies with a great ideas to feed out insatiable desire to "get something better".  At some point it seems we listen to music with a microscope, not just for sensory enjoyment but for the quest of "better" sound.  At some point you cannot appreciate the forest for the trees...so, is cryogenic treatment a valid recommendation for musicality improvement?
