Definitely bring them to your house. Auditioning will like end any reluctance on your part. I would love to have owned the amps and preamp. Audition them at the same time.I bet you buy them.
Conrad Johnson Premier 8 / Triode TRX2
I’ve got an opportunity to purchase a set of Conrad Johnson Premier 8 monoblocks from a good friend - and possibly a Triode TRX2 preamp; both in near mint condition. My friend is in no rush so I have weeks, even months to let him know. It would probably mean letting go of at least one of two sets of tube monoblocks - maybe both: MC75's and Grommes G101a’s. Does anyone own the Premier 8 monoblocks here?! Or the Triode TRX2 preamp? I’d like to know what owner’s think of these units and their experience with them. Thx!
