Yo,Homer and congrats, great set of monoblocks. Now did you get the modified --and---converted to triode version? Like any amp that is around 15 years old, it can be brought up to this century's state of being. The original "barrier strips"(binding posts) defy connection to most spades. Adding iec's helps too. Unmodified versions should sell for 2/3k depending on condition.(and what tubes) Modified and with what tubes ect.---4/5k
George is right on the value. Original retail was $7500/pair, they were the top of the CJ lineup, HP (of TAS fame) had a pair in his reference system for a while. Great amps, 200wpc. Conradjohnson.com has some info, in their 'classic products' section. They can supply manual, etc. if need be. They were made between 1981-1985 I think. Great amps that hold their own with anything today, when tuned up right. Not many big power amps at this level, esp. using such a musical tube as the EL-34.

enjoy,
