yes take your pre out and plug them in to your rec in you cant touch the volume while recording 

or split the outputs from your sources taks one set to the hegel and another set to a switch box ad take the output of the switchbox to your rec in.

I have a couple more questions about this. The P30A has RCA1 and RCA2, Analog out jacks. So both of these jacks can be used for record jacks, correct?

Also a question about switchboxes. Does using a switchbox in a high end system degrade the sound? Is there such a thing as a high end switchbox? And if I was going to try that, is there a particular one you would recommend?

Tape recording/monitoring is a royal pain without a tape loop. They are hard to come by any.
