I did lower the gain- that helped a lot
Component break in
Has anyone ever experienced that as a solid state component breaks it its background noise gets quieter? I am Auditioning a phono pre in my home and am somewhat surprised that this highly vaunted component is noisier right out if the box than my old Pass Aleph Ono. I was assured it would be quieter head to head
