Interesting question for me as I use a RS Haley w/mongoose in series with an older Bybee signature on my DAC. Removal of either (I wanted to sell one) degrades the sound. The products you mention are both a step up from mine, but the point was that they address different things. If I remove both and put in a Bybee SE PC it still isn't as good as the two others in series. I do not remember the specifics as it was over a year ago. I think that at least you ought to have them in house to compare side by side. My $.02.
