Comments on Channel Island VDAC 2

Looking for feedback on Channel Island VDAC2 sound quality. I am looking at dacs in the under $1000.00 price range and the VDAC2 with optional power supply seems to be a good option. The dac is going to be used with my Wadia 171 transport for my ipod classic. I am currently using the digital in on my Cambridge audio 752 universal player. My speakers are, Dynaudio Focus 140 powered by a Plinius integrated.
