Sonically how do these preamps compare? You don't see many come up for sale... GOAL: Natural, 3-d soundatage with no roll-off highs or boomy (muddy ) bass, texture and resolution also important.
Can speak for the VAC Ren Preamp -- 3d soundstage, extended highs and lows, natural and transparent and harmonically correct transparency, tons (and tons) of texture....I can see the instruments versus hearing an electronic facsimile.
