Class D amps

I'm looking at a Rowland continuum and initial thought Wow JR for less than $10k then I start reading class D amp design and there's several other brands that use class D and charge as if. Is the hi end trying to keep their niche regardless? I was so wrong when manufacturing went to china I hoped the production savings would trickle down to us, silly me. How long before the big name companies start charging 6 figures for class D which as it evolves will get better and cheaper at the same time. Does anybody see these guys charging proportionate to cost or will they still do what that do?

Dennis seems to be keeping his head in regards to not putting a 1/2" thick aluminum/bronze faceplate on his product and charging $20k for it but I haven’t heard how they compare, in fact the only class D i’ve brought home was a peachtree nova 300 that crapped out within 20 minutes. It was smooth, inoffensive, but also uninvolving as in it didn’t really wake up my speakers like the hegel did.

I'm not a diy'er but see the modules going for a couple hundred bucks? what am I missing
