The STM is a world class amp for about $1500. 90% (at least) of the DTMs. The 2Cherru is around $1700 maybe 95%. These amps are affordable for among the best amps you can buy for any money. If you can negotiate a trial it first before you buy deal, you can’t lose. Good luck.
