Did you ever get your Chap Two up and running?
Chapter Audio model Two amp needs repair but Chapter Audio is history
I own a Chapter Audio model Two amplifier - a fine sounding solid state amp that I bought second hand some years back - and the touch on/off button recently failed. The local audio shop is unable to repair because 1) I don't have schematics and they told me to hot wire the amp to the power switch at the back of the amp will be too dangerous (I assume that would bypass the amp's protection circuitry), b) can't find any info online, and c) Chapter Audio doesn't exist any more. I live in Dallas.
Any ideas who I can contact that either can provide a schematic or can repair this amp? I'd hate to have to junk a quality piece because the primary power switch crapped out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
