Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables

Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.

But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.

I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.

I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed!  I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.

I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.

So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.

So how much does an 8ft pair of the graphene speaker cables go for? I noticed Bob doesn't have any ads here on Agon anymore.
So does anybody have an idea how many hours or days it takes for the speakers cables to open up?
Got around 150 hrs on the SC's. They sound fabulous! Considering asking Bob to make a short digital IC. Anybody have one?
I was about to say the same thing lancelock.

213runnin- ignorance is bliss. Stay away from these cables.
These are the prices from page 4 of this thread. I'm sure 213runnin
has read it since he's posting here.

But it would be nice if Bob can concur if these are still current

Cerious Technologies Graphene Extreme PC/ 5 ft - $299
Cerious Technologies Graphene Extreme 1M Interconnect - $299
Cerious Technologies Graphene Extreme Speaker cables 8’ set - $649
Cerious Technologies Graphene Extreme Digital 1/0 cable 1M - $199

I've had the GE speaker cables and GE IC's  for a while now and really like what I'm hearing. I've got a Melody AN845 integrated that I'm contemplating trying one of the GE power cables with. Just curious if any of you guys have compared Bob's GE pc's to that of the CPT-300 pc?

The price of Bob's cables are so attractive so I'm wondering if the CPT-300 is even close to the price performance you get with the Cerious GE cables..
Thanks yoby. Just read it.

Definitely sounds like the price/performance of Bob's cables are a no brainer. Would be neat though to hear how calloway's cables are doing now with more time on them and if any opinion has changed.
Anybody hear from Bob this week? He usually responds within a few days or so but it's been about a week since I sent him a message. I know he said last weekend he was going out of town, just hope he's doing alright.
Elevating cables off the floor is one tweak I have yet to do. Being that the GE cables are fairly large and heavy, any suggestions for a particular material to use? My original thought is to use wood pucks/blocks. Is there a preference for height or just getting them off the floor the main thing?
Great idea Dave! Thanks for the links and info. I'd like to try and duplicate those as well.

jeony- I just grabbed some foam that was leftover from some packing material I'll put under the cables here in a while. Thanks for the suggestion.

Very nice Dave.

I got a friend who's a carpenter with the wood and tools so I'm going to try and cut some blocks in the next few weeks to mimic the df-ss. Got the damping material from Amazon on order. I used it in my truck door's so I know it's good stuff.

I'm currently burning in a GE blue pc I got this week so would like to let it settle and know it's sonic signature before doing anything else. So far it's really good.
Yes! Thanks Dave!

That gives me a better idea of what to do. Thanks again!

Man ozzy, that's a whole lotta wire. Any idea how much each channel weighs?
Interesting on lak's order of improvement. Mine is kinda the opposite. The blue pc on my amp was a real wow moment with the speaker cables a close second. The yellow pc on the wall outlet to my surge protector just bloomed and it's awesome whereas the red pc on my dac was the least impressive. Almost to the point I was going to send it back but it was still better than the former cable. I was going to ask Bob if a blue pc would be a possible option for dacs with larger than normal power supplies but everything sounds so good right now I haven't bothered.

Yeah, doesn't really matter as long as you get there. These cables are about as satisfying of an upgrade as I can remember. The ability to lower the noise floor, take out the hash or grunge, and increase detail all while having more or better musicality.
Ha! I didn't see the package weight listed there. Good luck on the sale ozzy!
I asked Bob to put in some desert blossom honey in my GE cables which are really great. They have a nice sweet top end and they help with my allergies...

For real though, excellent cables for both audio and video. My plasma tv has never looked better.

I completely agree with waltersalas. The CT's and Teo's make one helluva combo and the fact that their price is so reasonable makes it even sweeter.
@lak

What component are you using the Furutech cable on? And are you saying you prefer it over the Cerious Tech blue?

I think Chris at VH Audio sells this wire. I like to tinker every once in a while trying new stuff and if you can make it yourself it definitely can save some cash. I'm still a very satisfied user of Bob's cables and everything I've put one of his power cables on has had tremendous results. I'm thinking of asking him to make another yellow pc when Mark ships the DEEP CORE to mate with my 1800.
@ozzy

I placed an order from this place over the weekend. Haven't heard anything yet about shipping but it is early. Cheaper than Jaguar while shipping is only $6 more

@c_avila1

Either one you go with first is fine as both are accepted as exceptional cables for the money. You bring up an interesting idea about using the Duelund in Bob's cables. I've wondered this before as well in regards to his power cables in using some of the Furutech wire that's been out lately. But I know the price would be much higher and for what amount of gain to be had may not be worth it as Bob's pc's are already great performers.

The Duelund however may not be as expensive to try in the speaker cables.  His sc's are some of the best out there right now so why mess with a good thing but this would be an interesting experiment to see how his technique with the graphene works with the Duelund.

@rgrost
Any thoughts on this Bob?
Got a blue 5ft GE power cable in good condition available for sale. Pm if interested.
