HAS ANYONE USED THESE MACHINES THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO RECONDITION SCRATCHED CD SURFACES AND MAKES THEM PLAYABLE AGAIN? IF SO ANY BRANDS WORTH LOOKING INTO? THANKS
Discwasher makes a CD polish and scratch remover I have used successfully on a number of occassions. Your hand/arm is the machine. Cost around $20 or so. Save your money.
Bsm- I bought a skip doctor. It was very poorly made. Cheap materials, very sloppy assembly. It barely operated from a mechanical standpoint, so I cannot comment on its effectiveness. Suggest you try one out in person; probably not a good net purchase based on my experience. Would love to hear if there is a good manufacturer out there.
