I'm having terrible problems with my phno stage, which picks up so much hum that it blows out the amp fuses. I'm running a Linn LP12 with Lingo power supply. I'm about to give up on the CAT phono stage and get a solid state Linto. Any suggestions on rescuing my phono stage? thanks.
Alas, the hum is in both channels, more on left than right, though. I think it's RF. I'm not sure there is a cure, but will call CAT. It would be a shame to abandon the phono stage.
