Over the last month or so I have been refreshing the cables in my setup.
I recently bought a used set of AudioQuest Castle Rock speaker cables. I knew from the pictures and description that they were bi-wired, but the photos was kind of ambiguous whether or not they were a dual-run on each side or if on the speaker end the spade just split from the same cable. I ended up purchasing them thinking anyway because either case would work for what I was looking for.
When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that it was a dual-run per channel configuration with two of the AudioQuest DBS units on the left channel and two DBS units on the right.
Is this a custom setup or is that how they usually came when shipped? The original AQ box that came with the cables just mentioned bi-wire. From what I have been able to find, this is not a typical setup since most bi-wire cables of this type only use a single cable run per channel.
BTW - They sound great with my Bryston amps and Vandersteens.
