Cary SLI-80HS Wood Side Panels removable?
Are the Cary SLI-80HS Wood Side Panels removable without a nut falling into the chassis interior? Anyone try it? I’d like to use wood oil on the exterior of the panels in an effort to get the wood grain to stand out better.
And I can then take the side panels into the garage to avoid a potential oil spill disaster!

@dekay Thank you! I’ve had my older SLI-80 for so long I didn’t think to check the manual for the new 80HS. Interesting that my factory-installed side panels have flat head Phillips drive screws, not hex screws. But clearly there must be a threaded screw sleeve in there for customer installation of the side panels. |
