You need to get a very long shank Phillips screwdriver. The screws are very short. Once the screws are out the cover slides back, carefull, some of the edges are sharp.
Cary 306SACD
A friend recently sent me 2 HiFi tuning fuses that he said will greatly improve the sound of my Cary 306SACD player.
Tools in hand, my intention was to remove the cover and install these fuses for a try. Outside inspection of the case revealed absolutely no screws to remove the case. Looking at the bottom, there are two holes that appear to be screw holes but shining a flashlight in them does not reveal a screw head. They just go through to the inner case but no release mechanism is apparent.
Has anyone here tried to remove one of these covers and if so how is this accomplished?
