I own two Cardas Golden cords, but have no experience with the Hexlink. The Golden, however, did not replace the Hexlink, at least from an Audioadvisor catalogue that I still have kicking around from 1999/2000. At that time, a 5 ft. hexlink sold for $239 and a 5 ft. golden went for $330. Prices then increased on the golden to $366 in the past couple of years.
