Capital AudioFest : Fyssion Speakers

I live near Boone, NC, in the Blue Ridge Mtns. We have a local shop that repairs and sells vintage audio gear, a nice shop and a bit of a surprise in this fairly rural area. I was interested to learn that the folks there have started their own speaker company, called Fyssion Audio.

Their speakers are a unique design, single-driver/full-range, and to my ears, sound really good, …in the shop.

Fyssion is going to exhibit their speakers next week at Capital AudioFest.  If anyone here plans to attend, I would be interested to “hear” other’s opinions.

To be clear, I have no affiliation or financial interests/benefit related.

Thank you.

Bump, Bump, …from my above OP

Hoping some folks at Capital Audio Fest can provide first-hand Impressions of these “hometown” speakers. Thanks in advance.

Thanks bache, I generally agree. After listening, a sub could be helpful, though a preference-driven choice. Mainly looking for 1st-hand feedback on these from Cap AudioFest. Your input is appreciated.

Thank you for your reply, and interested to hear your thoughts on the speakers. I’m glad to learn that you feel like they’re worth another listen and perhaps a trial.

As an FYI, I’m from Virginia as well, Blacksburg.  I would be excited and willing to do anything I can to help you on a visit to Boone. Would appreciate observing your critical listening of the speakers, and how you might interact with them during a demo.

Again, let me know if there’s anything I can do on my end.  It’s a small town, and I am in that shop every couple of weeks, like right now, I have two vintage pieces in for repair. Look forward to possibly meeting you in the future.

DM as you feel appropriate. GM
