Cap upgrade, can you help?

I have a Moscode 300 and have had a lot of work done to it. The one thing I haven't done is the addition of additional caps to the main caps. I know the Maxi version came with them but I don't know the value to look for. Are these critical sonically? Would it be better to replace the older cans with new bigger ones if I could find spomething that fits?
