Can you run outputs from dvd player to amp ?

I have a new sony 777 es mega dvd player, can I bypass a prepro hook it directly to my 5 channel amp , thanks

You could use a passive volume control (passive preamp). You would need one with two inputs..one for your pre/pro pass through, and the other input would work for what you are trying to do. Dave
