Can anyone tell me about....

Columbia Special Archives Series...

I recently acquired a few of these. I suspect they were offered through something like a subscription service or record club "back in the day". If anyone has specific info, I'd appreciate hearing from you. The Lionel Hampton has cleaned up pretty well, reasonably quite surface and decent sonics.
