Cambridge Audio D300&D500 compatible with CD-R?

I also have the D500SE, and have had no problems playing multiple CD-R's on it.

I assume others have more experience with this. I have a D500SE and 1 CDR recorded for me by a friend. It works fine. However, I did have some problems with at least one CDR I recorded in exchange. It played most but not all of the tracks. Given other problems I have had with my burner, the problem may lie there. Again, limited experience, but hopefully useful.
