Cable Troubleshooting

I've got an issue with my Apature Accuflow cables.  The banana plugs that go into the speakers are fine, but not into my mid eighties Denon receiver, as the ports are too small to fit the thick cable. I'm wondering if these will solve the problem.

TIA

The answer would seem obvious.  Does the Denon use "pin" connectors?  By a set of adapters that arer returnable if they don't work for you.

I'd make own with OCC wire and 4 mm banana jacks.

Tinned wire will probably make a better connection than them pins.

Find the right connectors and put them on your cables.  Don't add extra connections to the signal path.

@jjbeason14  I guess I had that coming. 🤣  But seriously, a simple fix would be to remove the Bananas from one end and Just use bare wire connection to the posts on the Denon and tighen the lug nuts?  I know we have become used to having a connector on the end of the speaker wire but there is nothing wrong with bare wire.  Just make sure there are no stray wire strands that could contact the other post.  If you're not planning to take the cables on and off it would be an easy solution?  Cheers.
