I would echo the suggestion of spending your money on a better external DAC than the one in the Node 2.
I can't see the logic in spending a lot of money to replace the already good interconnects you have to try to improve the sound quality of a DAC included in a $500 piece of gear.
Take what I said with a grain of salt as I don't know how good the sound quality of the RCA outputs is, I connected my Node 2 to my Auralic Vega immediately. I'm very pleased with the sound quality in this configuration, but the Vega doesn't do MQA. I am skeptical that MQA directly from the Node 2 would be better than what is coming out of the Vega.
