Buying a 10 years old loudspeaker

Buying a 10 years old loudspeaker like a Genesis 500 or a Watt Puppy 5 or 6, what should you care about ?
how long is it's life expectation?

My speakers are 16 years old, and I know they will need some amount of repair some day...but the parts are there, so I don't worry about it. Dave
