Bryston Bda-3 and Audiophilleo

Hello, On my older Bda-1, I used a Audiophilleo s/pdif W purepower, to bring up the Usb Inputs a couple of notches thru the BNC port.Will this still be beneficial with my Bda-3?Any transport recommendations?

I also had the A/wPP and the BDA-1. When I purchased a new DAC the USB input was improved over the one in the BDA-1 (asynchronous). Sold the A/wPP and the BDA-1. Never did a comparison between the A/wPP and the USB input on the new DAC. I have gotten away from computer (USB) use on this system. You would need to do this comparison for yourself with your USB source.
