Bryston 28BSST Line Voltage Indicator LED

Just purchased a set of these manufactured in 2009. The location for the LED on the back panel has been plugged. Contacted Bryston and they said that this feature is no longer used. No reason to doubt them but thought it would be interesting to see if this is the case. thanks Carl
