BPT Power Conditioner

Any thoughts of this product.? How's it compare to a Richard Gray. Enhanced audio/video performance noticeable or negligeable.

Haven't heard the Richard Gray product, but the BPT 3.5 has done amazing things for my system. I have my phonostage (Manley Steelhead), Amps (Tenor Audio 300hp)and SACD player (Musical Fidelity Trivista) all plugged in. The noise floor dropped dramatically with no apparent loss of highs or any compression. It does weird things until it brakes in (about 2 weeks to complete), but once it has settled down you will hear more space between the notes (music initally sounds slower) and more solid images.
I found the bigest difference on the video side. I needed to reset all of my set's parameters. Blacks were deeper and the overall PQ was better. In terms of audio, I found the differences to be more subtle with a slightly lower noise floor and slightly stronger bass. Balanced power may not benefit everyone, but I am certainly a believer given the improvements in my system.
I tired and tired to hear a difference with the RG 400 unit but to my ears nothing, that being said I know two others who use a Hydra and a Exact Power and they swear by them. There other ways to do this, see some other threads by Sean, Physicanimal and Lak, they have this stuff down to a science. I am following their teachings and trying to do what they have accomplished.

Happy Listening.
