It was a good move. McIntosh wasn't getting the representation it deserves in those stores. The people going to BestBuy are looking to buy those dopey color changing light bulbs or some Ring cameras, not $10k pieces of audio gear.

Just read that Bose is pulling McIntosh from all Magnolia Hi Fi locations. That is going to cut way back on locations that potential Mac customers will have available to them for auditions and the like. Ahh, the wonderful world of corporate buyouts.
