bose 501 speakers

hi everyone, any thoughts of this speaker from the 70's? I believe that during the 70's bose only had the 901's and the 501's.

A fellow dorm mate had them when I went to college. I have to say, they impressed me then, but after college, I heard the Vandersteen's. I haven't looked back since. B
