Borresen X3 at Axpona

I listened to these speakers at Axpona and thought they were amazing for the price..Very open,forward midrange. Any opinions out there on these? We listened to Jonny Cash and his voice was incredible.l would highly consider buying a pair of these for 11K

The checkerboard pattern you see on many speakers these days is a wonder material called Textreme. It wasn’t designed for the speaker industry but was adapted to great affect! I believe it is lighter and stiffer than CF with greater damping qualities, everything important to a speaker driver with none of the bad. Textreme is not a Borrensen innovation.

And you would be wasting your money for a resonant bass, sloppy decay and ringing and narrow vertical dispersion. No thank you. I have never liked the X3 during any demo I've heard of them
