The Borrenson teeeter is exceptional ,where they screwed up is in the Bass 

the 2 - 4.5 inch drivers are perfect for the mids mid mid to low bass atleast 2-7 inch drivers then the speakers would go down to a flat 30 hz on the x3 a4 inch driver cannotpressurize a room ,you need at least one good sub,2 preferred .

I TrueType think Perlisten R7 or S7 get way overlook and verywell engineered

andthrir measured specs are very good vs much more expensive speakers.

The Borrensen Loudspeakers are very good , as well

as the whole Denmark Audio group !

I know the X3 very well they are very good but limited on low bass ,in room maybe a clean 38 hz , I can see using 4.5 inch drivers for mids but midBass low bass at least at minimum 6.5 inch driver to truly pressurize a room,  the mass of the bass driver does matter.a grand piano can go downto 28 HZ for example .

I was considering the x3 ,I would keep my SVS 4000SB subs from low 40s on down , the Bass is tight and good but lacks the impact that my subs can do .they are very tuneful though. that’s my only reservation with them , the X1 for sure a pair of Quality subs required.

then you have a very good set up ,the X2 are a smaller X3 and might be ideal for a medium room with subs. Having owned a Audio store for a decade I am useD to having the impact of a live performance ,and I have room treatments throughout the listening area. They are a very good value for the monies.

I was biased with the x3. The first time I heard it ,for it had less then 200 hours on it 

and the way it’s designed with the deep cabinet you have to turn them up a bit to get the5 inch drivers moving counting the surround ,I went back 2 weeks later and they now sound much more balanced and played down to lower30s AhZ in room 

and less then18 inches from the front wall. The wave guide and tweeter far better then most any domes in breaking out everything in the recording and very. Deep wide soundstage .the X1 I heard and it’s a must getting the matching stands ,their 

other companies Ansuz has very good audio cables and pucks with different types of bearings That bring in the detail further but price goes up. Their AAvic I280 integrated amp class D on another level. Beating many more expensive class A-AB  

electronics , this $10k integrated has a dac card thsts very good ,but the integrated amp ,that I hears against topAccuphase 4000, Luxmans new $12k, McIntosh , Hegel600, Pass labs , and Boulder , the AAvic had more power and control very detailed and natural and much more blacker quiet background .it has a lot of technologies others Donot it uses well over 100 mini Tesla coils passive and active to further lower the noice floor .they make a i180 model for around$8k   And much more $$ expensive models .the i -280 integrated is the sweet spot in the range Everything from. Them is Quality.  They even have a 100wpc entry level with dac,streamer for around $6k  ,respectable but not in the I180,280,580 league. Danish audio group is very good quality and worth hearing .
