Bluetooth speaker that you can disable the startup/shutdown sound?

I have the same problem with a JAM audio bluetooth speaker. It makes a loud sweeping midrange sound upon power-on.

it’s used for backyard BBQs. Family thinks it sounds great lol

Try Sony, Denon, and BOSE for great sound quality audio over bluetooth. I think their designers/engineers were wiser overall...lol

My experience with bluetooth speakers is limited to people haveing them playing loudly in inappropriate locations....not a fan.

I have a portable JBL speaker (not sure of the exact model) but every time I turn it on or off it makes a super annoying and loud noise. I normally use it to play sounds like rain/forests etc so this is incredibly jarring. I tried to message JBL to see if they had any that I can disable this on and their support contact page is a nightmare at best. I also can't tell by looking at other product pages.

Does anyone have any recommendations for what I'm trying to use a speaker for?
