Bluesound 2i coaxial output sound quality

I would like to know if I use the coaxial output connected to my dac if the sound quality will be based only on my dac? In other words, does the quality of the streamer have any impact on the sound quality produced?

Anything with a switchable persistent queue. In my experience people who like BluOS never tried anything else. Of course the cannot on a BlueSound, it is locked up like Hannibal Lecter.
