A USB table top Mic may be the best option from a quality stand point.
A headset would be another choice and Schiit offers Hel ... have not used it myself.

Biggest need: USB headphone DAC/AMP with mic input
The only chance I really have to listen to headphones is at my PC. The feature all the mid/high end devices lack is a microphone input. Why is this important?? Because I'm also using my headphones for meetings.
It does not have to be a studio quality mic input, just good enough to let me use 1 plug from my desktop setup.
