Bi amping question

Someone please help! I just bi amped my Paradigm Prestige 85Fs, I am using 2 identical Anthem power amps. Before i was only using one Anthem amp, i am using a Pioneer SCLX-904 as a preamp, when messing around with the test tones on the recievers settings,a single tone would come out of each speaker like it should. Now after biamping my Paradigms when i mess around with the test tones, a test tone comes out of each front speaker at the same time. There is no seperation of the front 2 channels. When "front left" is going through its test tone i have a test tone coming out of the right front speaker as well, and vice versa. And now the test tones sound different then they did before biamping. Isnthis normal after biamping?? When playing 2 channel music the speakers sound great. I just didnt know if this test tone thing now was normal. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You.

Need to know how the amps are connected to speakers.
Is it like the above diagram? Or does one amp feed the upper drivers and the 2nd amp feed the bottom drivers?
See diagram...

The tone sounds different because you're probably doubling the signal to each speaker. Are you only using the preamp out of the Pioneer and is it set for 2 channel stereo?

Do you have the left and right mixed up on the bass section, swap them left to right and see if the test tone only comes out one speaker then.

Just a thought.. I've done it...
