Bi Amping

Just hooked up a pair of Cambridge p500’s to the woofers on my Verity Sarastro ii speakers. Using a Cambridge pre amp to control them. The tops are being fed from two Wyetech Saphire amps, which were powering everything prior to this. I wasn’t totally satisfied with the bass and felt the Verity’s were probably not getting the power they needed. I had the Cambridge stuff sitting around not being used, but was reluctant to try, after reading some comments on this subject. Very happy with the results. Have been looking for subs, but don’t seem to be needed now. For what the Cambridge would cost used, it’s a pretty low cost improvement.
