All your examples seem to be about maintaining functionality or continuity not about the nuances of output. Most audiophile equipment is incredibly heavy because vibration control and interference is considered within the device to extreme degrees throughout the device. Aftermarket devices are effective when stabilizing the whole device and improving sound quality... whether DAC, amp, or preamp.
