Best used DAC under $750.

I am currently using the DAC section of my Mac 2500. Would like to have a separate. Also would like xlr outs. Not looking to buy new or spend more than $500-$750. I appreciate your recommendations from your experience. I have owned several separates in the past. Antelope Gold, Wadia 121, AMR 777, April Music ??

Without a doubt the giant killer DAC for even less than what you stated is your price range is the ifi Micro DAC2. I cannot believe what I am hearing with this! Buy it and save the extra money for a good cable. I cannot believe others out there charge what they charge for their DACs when this one kicks some serious rear....

Mytek Liberty and the built in DAC in my Marantz UD7007.  I find the ifi to be as good as the Mytek for a 1/3 of the price...
