Used MIT Terminator 2's show up on here at times,keep that MA treble under control.

When I purchased my RS6 I was told that Tara Labs worked well, never got around to trying them. I've mostly used older Transparent cables or Anti-cables; neither biwired. I'm interested in hearing how the MIT T2's would sound.

BTW, I'm impressed with the RS6. Nice speaker if you pair it up with the right equipment. Creek is a good choice, RS6 can also sound good with Ayon tubes...kind of silly statement, I know, because most anything sounds good with Ayon. The local dealer here in Sacramento paired the RS6 with Ayon tubes for me one time and I was impressed with the tremendous clarity and soundstage. They also sounded really nice when we tried Creek, so I bought them.

Try Clear day cables or Virtue Nirvana

I tried Anti cables but they were pretty bad. I used Acoustic Zen Satori. Satori had more "air" , better extension at both ends. Anti's seem to be "clear" but don't convey ambient info, much info missing plus lack in treble extension and not "very deep" bass.

I had the same Creek you have but the MA 8's not the 6. Should be very close to what you have. The good thing is both components are fairly neutral so you don't need the cables to function as an EQ, they just need to transfer the signal. The MA's are not one of those speakers that need to be biwired; the money can be put to better use elsewhere. One of the nice things about the Creek is the passive line stage. By not using an active LS at this price point, you don't have to deal with some of the problems that can arise with a cheap LS. Like harsh high frequencies. The upper frequencies are very good with the Creek/MA combo; nice refinement and well balanced. As far as cables go, you don't have to spent alot; while both pieces are excellent at their given price points, they don't have the resolution to justify an expensive cable. I would use a run of Audioquest type 8. It is the same as the Cv-8 but without the DBS and half the price. I have a very expensive set of Tara cables I use on another system and there was very little to no difference. Also, with the copper AQ, it is very neutral and sounds good with anything. If you upgrade a component you should still be ok as opposed to getting a "tone control" type of cable. Hope this info helps.

Hello, everyone: Thanks for all the input. My cable update is that I'll probably be going with MIT CVT2 bi-wires as Stereophile recommended, after missing my shot at some used Acarian Black Orpheus Bi-Wires. I was toying with the idea of building up a Lenco L75 instead, to replace my Dual CS5000, but the MIT CVTs will make everything sound better, not just LPs.

Used cables, of course... even then, they're pricey.

I own the same amp and the Vandersteen 1C speakers which cannot use a bi-wire cables, but a single wire Xindak FS1 was a great choice. If possible try Xindak SC-01-B.
