George Shearing is by any standard a wonderful artist. problem: Go to Amazon.com and 90 titles are listed. If any Shearing enthusiasts are out there who could recommend a few of the better recordings available, I'd be most grateful. Thanks in Advance
I really enjoy his collaboration with Nancy Wilson, the title of which doesn't readily come to mind. He also collaborated with Wes Montgomery and Wes's musician brothers. I find his other recordings sort of boring except for the hot covers.
