Best preamp pairing

I just bought a Will Vincent ST-70 “Limited” KT66 wired in triode. Looking for the best pre amp to pair with it. I have a Blair Chapman SSRP I can use, yet it could use some modifications. Was considering a Van Alstine FET Valve CF, David Berning TF-10, or a Cary SPL-30(upgraded) also AES AE-3 DJH is on my list. My budget is about $1000-$1500, any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Listening area is about 15’x20’ and I listen at low to moderate levels. Mainly jazz, instrumentals, vocals, speakers are Omega SAM’s
